BOSI Player Origins

Every player in the LBA has an origin in Laseron. (Elos, Minos, Firun, Rivar, Dark Isles, Tempura, Salara, Alaris....all the condinents and islands)

In BOSI the players are showing up as "USA" or "Canadian".

This is a problem for our league as we are basing it on fiction and trying to get as far from MLB as possible.

Great utility from what I can tell so far! We just signed up today.

Cool concept on the player origins.

I'm sure CommishJoe will see this here but you may want to post it in the BOSI forums under "Bugs" just in case. Joe has been incredibly responsive and devotes a lot of hard work to the BOSI project.

Also, I set "max tradaeble draft picks" to 5 per league rules....and max tradeable draft picks year" to 1904....which is the next year. And draft picks can't be included when we test the trade thing.

That is weird. One of my leagues, the WLB, is on BOSI and has players from all over the world. Their places of origin are showing up correctly on BOSI as Russia, Germany, Italy, and the like.

Almost missed this thread

Can you send me your players.csv? I'd like to see how the data is stored in your league. However, I'm assuming hometown has the data you are looking for, and that's not a field Markus is using by default, so BOSI ignored it.

Once I look at the CSV, I'll know for sure.

Make sure you setup the 1904 amateur draft and created the picks for it. If you aren't sure how, go to my site and read the amateur draft documentation.

Actually I figured out its not the origin that is showing. I figured it was because it was "USA" and "Canadian" below the team logo on the player page. Apparently those are the leagues of league id 1....the CUBL....
