CJ’s .csv exporter can’t find .dat files?
I tried to run CommishJoe’s .csv file exporter, and the program said it couldn’t find my .dat files. I thought I had the addresses correct, and the quotation marks in the correct places and everything.
But when I ran the program it listed the correct paths, yet it said it still couldn’t find the .dat files. The error message was something like: Couldn’t find "c:\correct path\ootp\ootp5\league.lg" players.dat It had the address in the quotation marks but the name of the file it was looking for was outside the quotation marks. The path it lists in the quotation marks is correct. So in the above example, the whole address of the file it needs is c:\correct path\ootp\ootp5\league.lg\players.dat so it displays the correct information, but it can’t seem to find the .dat files. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong? |

I'm not sure what the problem might be, but I only run it on my backups, not my actual league folders. For example, my .bat says:
player.exe "e:\testmax7" "c:\CSVs" teams.exe "e:\testmax7" "c:\CSVs" cls where e:\testmax7 is where my backup is. I have no idea, but I'm thinking the .lg in your folder name might be screwing it up or maybe a space in the path is. Maybe try it on just a backup.

I run it directly on league files at least twice, sometimes three times a day flawlessy. Here's my batch file.
player.exe "c:\games\ootp5\4ever baseball.lg" "d:\games\4ever\bosi" teams.exe "c:\games\ootp5\4ever baseball.lg" "d:\games\4ever\bosi" schedule.exe "c:\games\ootp5\4ever baseball.lg" "d:\games\4ever\bosi" pause |
