Cato run-time error in 11th season of entry
Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)':
Field 'PostPitching.Team' cannot be a zero-length string. I was trying to add my 11th season to the db when this happened. To confirm this error, I made a brand new db and started with this season. Same error. Is anyone familiar with this problem? |

Hey man, I'm getting that same error to in a league I'm trying to upload into the database. I skipped past the year and tried importing the year after it, and the year after works fine. To be a little obvious, it's gotta have something to do with postseason pitching, but I haven't found out what yet....wait scratch that. During typing I was running a test and the season imported without a hitch!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only bad thing is I had to delete all the postseason stats of the pitchers.
I think the league can do without 1 year of postseason pitching stats since the leagues been around for 12 . But its gotta be something stupid like a pitcher getting shelled without gettting an out, or playing in a game without facing a batter, something. Hope this helps a bit!Matt |

I had that same problem. I found out the reason for my problem was that a player who had pitched in the playoffs was listed in the database as not being on a team. If you can open the database file with Access go through and make sure all the players who pitched in the playoffs are still with a team. I found the player who wasn't with a team and put him back on his team and re-ran the Utility without error.

I found a couple of players who were cut after the playoffs who played in the playoffs.
How do I get them back on their teams? I can't resign them because they won't sign with their teams again. |

I can't remember exactly what I turned off to get the person back on the team. If you are in manager mode turn that off and I think I had to turn off financials also to get it done. Try that and see what happens.

I'm having the same problem with my FIRST year of importing, except its the batting stats. I went into the database and everyone is listed on a team in the batting table.
Any ideas?
