Ok Boozie, I tried that one and it definetly came in better but still with some blotches. I noticed that when I zoom in on the image with paint, there are still some pixels that arent black (more of a dark tanish). From the patterns of the blotches in the game, this looks to be the same as the non black pixels i see in zoom.

OK, I'm zooming in at 600% right now and what i see is the black part is all black but there is tan around the edges of the horse (is that what you mean?)
I just looked at it in the game, and it looks fine to me. Do you mean the yellow areas on the horse? Because those are supposed to be there, if you look at the picture. If that's not what you mean, then I think the file got messed up when you converted it to .bmp or something. |

Yeah it must have converted wrong or something. I like the yellow areas in the horse. Ive tried using the Paint program to go over the horse with black, but then I get all greyish in the game. Weird. Still a great logo even with a few splotches here and there. Thanks alot for the help. Hey, what program do you use to make these and do they convert it to bitmaps for you?
P.S. Most of the conversions Ive made are 24 bit. |

I really don't know the technical reason for the white blotches...but have seen in other threads it has something to with the color black, black transparency, and true black...the settings for the game should be 10,10,10 instead of 0,0,0. The logo designer has to make the settings...they are not in the game.
I really don't know what I talking about...but recall something like this previously. I had about 80 logos produced several months ago and the white spots showed up about 20 % of the time. Maybe some of the graphics expert can explain it. |

Yeah Id be really interested in knowing, I still havent been able to fix the problem, but I have a copy of Photoshop at a friends house so I was going to mess around with it there and see if I could figure something out. Of course if someone knows exactly how to fix it, then that would be great.
