looking for a decent (free) graphics program

All I really want to do is mess with fonts. Nothing fancy, I just want to be able to outline letters with trim or something.

I am not against pirated software.

Attached is a logo that would work well with a Tokyo team (it is the flag of the prefecture of Tokyo)

You could try download.com and search for a graphics program. There are a bunch out there that will allow you to use them on a Trila basis.
