Never got the error myself. I would most likely redownload the utility and try again.

On the subject of the Schedule Generator
I look at the Schedule Generator, and it states it is for OOTP 4. Can anyone confirm or deny whether or not this program would safely work for adjusting an OOTP 5 schedule? Or is there a different program out there to use?
I hate the game schedule. All those 1 game series late in the season are awful. Thanks,

The scheduler was designed for OOTP4, but it works for OOTP5 just fine. I've never had a problem with it myself and I've used it many times. The only thing it cannot do is generate schedules for 4 Divisions.

I did find a workaround for leagues with odd number of teams that will play inter league schedules.
Start the league as a 'one league' setup with, for example, 10 teams. Create the schedule. Then add another league in OOTP, create 5 'blank' teams in the new league. Swap those 5 'blanks' for 5 teams in the other league. Then delete the 5 'blank' teams. There you have a two league setup with 5 teams in each league with a schedule. Of course this won't work if you are not playing an interleague schedule. |
