Nice! Put them in one zip file and send them to Joe. (JoeRockEHF@comcast.net) I'm sure he won't mind putting them on his site. http://www.ootpdownloadcenter.com/

I can't wait to hear how these sound in the game!

Thanks,

Todd

I'm emailing the single zip to Joe now, look for it to be posted at http://www.ootpdownloadcenter.com/ in the near future!

I don't see why not, they are the same files.

Drop me an email and I'll send them to anyone that wants them. I have renamed them to the ones specified in the readme.

Thanks Todd!

My email address is in the readme.txt file, should anyone have any suggestions. Check the sound levels, I've played with them a dozen times to make sure they weren't too loud (compared to other sounds in the game) nor too quiet.

On an old comuputer I used "Frankenstein" as one of the songs when hitters came to the plate. I enjoyed that.

Also, I have replaced the Strike three with a clip of White Sox announcer Ken "Hawk" Harrelson saying "He Gone!" Works nicely, except when my own players strike out. I can send the He Gone to anybody that might want it.

If there is one thing I don't want to hear in my game it's anything Hawk has to say. I think I might quit watching baseball if I had to listen to him.

Feedback welcomed!

I wish you could but you can't. The game will sometimes play either cheer1-4.wav or sometimes nothing at all for a HR (even for the home team).

Just watching the Rangers/Tigers slugfest tonight and actually listening to what was played during the game, there's several more songs that I'd like to put in there, but it's so limited in the number of files available for the various situations.

I was at the Rangers/Tigers game and it was incredible! After the top of the 5th and the Rangers down 14-4, I actually thought about leaving. Thankfully I didn't otherwise I would be kicking myself right about now!

It was a slugfest!

The Jock Jams and Rock Jams suggestion was a great one, but here are some specific ones for a more techno feel:

Outhere Brothers - Boom Boom Boom
Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation (Whoa Oh Oh Oh)
Darude - Sandstorm
Fatboy Slim - Because We Can (Can Can Can)
Fatboy Slim - Right Here Right Now

thanks GJK

just downloaded your stuff - I've been interested in downloaded sound from this thread for a while however the links given were all dead...

I was wondering if I can use a cheer file for an intro file by renaming it to intro - will the game read it - does it have to be a certain size...

thanks for your time
please post any other creations in the same way you just did...

Hi franco74,

Yes, you can make a copy of cheer1.wav and rename it intro1.wav replacing the original and it will work just fine. Size is no issue. One of my first sound mods had about 1/2 of the song in there and that whole thing would play (which got a bit annoying, thus I chopped down the length on about all of them for this last release).

Also, you may have noticed that my cheer wavs have not only the song but the original cheer in them as well. If you would like, I could add a cheer to one of my intro wav's, or use another of your choice, just let me know the song and I'll mix that up for you.
