Looking for Font

Does anybody have a font like the Boston Red Sox antique-pointy style?

I'm doing an early era league and trying to make some of my own logos.

Thanks!

I don't know the exact font you are looking for, but hopefully these links help in your search, if you didn't know about them already-

http://www.spacefonts.8m.com/

http://www.sharkshock.com/fonts/fonts.html

http://www.fontmagic.com/

http://www.dafont.com/en/

http://www.blambot.com/

That's where I get all my fonts from.

Thanks for posting those font sites Shub! Now for a dump question, once I download a font I would like to use, how do I get it into Paint Shop Pro, probably the same for Photo Shop?

EDIT> Figured out, just saved to the windows font folder.

The font is called "TGI Friday". You should be able to get it at one of the links Shub provided

Thanks Shub!

I had a few of those already, but found a couple I can use...not an exact match for the Red Sox but good. Although the FontMagic site doesn't seem to be valid.

bigD4VT - found the Friday's font on SharkShock and its pretty close to the Sox.

Also looking for a Pirates like font, but didn't have any luck there. Anyone have that one? ...is also like the Giants' SF logo on the hat.

Thanks guys!!

Another font similar to the Boston one can be found at the Sharkshock site listed above. After you enter the main site, look at the left side, click "sports", on that page the Lions or Thunderbird font is similar.

Pirates Gold isn't it unfortunately...Vanilla Whale is close, but some of the letters don't look right.

I found pictures of the entire alphabet and numbers in both fonts on custom uniform makers site, however they use the font in some sort of embroidery program...its not a PC font. I'm tempted to try to convert the image into a font, although I've never done that before. I've heard there is a font creator program that might be able to do it. Option #2 would be to send the pics to SharkShock and see if he could do it, but at $35+ each...its a bit much.

Pics of fonts: Tiffany and Pirates

I'd still like to have the exact matches, so if anyone has them or can find them let me know.
