logo tools

As I have been playing around with some new logos it seemed like a good idea to come up with a few logo templates that anyone could use to design logos they wanted. Something easy to use, where you can add text and/or a graphic. So far I came up with two, if there is any interest I will try to do more. Here are a few logos I did with the template, I will add two more posts with the templates.

nmleague - this is awesome. I've been looking for a good ball background and I like the home plate background as well. Thanks!

Did some more work on a diagonal template that I was working on last week, below are some samples, template will follow. The diagonal colors have to stay the same, have tried out a few different ones, if anyone has suggestions I can change them. The back ground on the other hand can be changed by using the flood fill tool that most graphics programs have. You can even have two different corner colors.

nmleague, I like the diagonals...that is creative and looks great.

You know me, Ole Picky Eugene...I know you do it because of space limitations, but the diagonals would look better if the lettering doesn't cross a line.

LivnLegend has put out some logos with tricolor background and they are creative and look very good.

I think the next time I request logos, just might request diagonals and tricolor backgrounds.

pepeda's league VBL has diagonal logos that are very interesting. You might want to check it out. They are MLB teams.

Not a designer, but it sounds like the templates are a very good idea.

Eugene this might be a way to get away from the letters crossing a line.

Tried offsetting the diagonal and placing the graphic in the bigger corner.

All of them look just fine.

Thanks for trying my suggestion.

In all honesty, I think the first ones look fuller and better than what I suggested.

It's good to see someone experiment a little with the designs.
