Changing Difficulty in MM

Any way to do this? I was reading the thread re: the MM utility to turn it off and on and there seemed to be a way to do it, but it was never explained?

Or is there another solution to what I want to do

Basically I just want to change the difficulty setting on my manager career, but I'd settle for starting a new one if there's a way to continue tracking my stats in the new one. That is, I dont want to lose the stats I've already accumulated.

Any ideas?

Use the MM utility, only way I know of. Not sure what the link is to download. If you can't find it, PM me and I can send it to you. It's really small.

I have the utility, but how in the world do you change the difficulty? That's what I need explained.

You mean this?
"This little utility will allow you to make edits even after you've started manager mode. It simply turns manager mode off so that you can edit what you like and then turns it turns it back on again so you can continue in manager mode.

To use this utility, you MUST copy the file Toggle_MM.exe to your league folder which is located in the OOTP folder. After doing this, you can then run it from this location (or make a shortcut to it on your desktop). Before running it, you MUST exit OOTP if it's running. After using the utility to turn off manager mode, you should make all your edits and then run the utility again in order to renable manager mode. You should NOT play any games before renabling manager mode.

In order to use this you may need to download and run the file "MSVBVM50.EXE". Only do this if you get an error trying to use the utility.

I dont see anything in there on how to change the difficulty on the manager mode. When you use this utility, the Manager page dissappears entirely, so how am I supposed to change the difficulty when its on a page that's not viewable?

Sorry, I was reading your first post but didnt read your second question properly, I thought you were asking how to run the utitility(should have got more sleep last night

).

Anyway in this case the toggle utility isnt going to help you at all. If its not possible to change the difficulty on the manager screen I think you are out of luck.

If you are looking for a way to make the game more challenging I would suggest(if you havent already) turning ratings off and playing talent only and you can also change the trading difficulty. To do this you will have to run the MM togggle utitlity.

Personally I play manager mode with the default difficulty with talent only.
