Bogota logo request!!
Hi guys, I've been looking at at lot of your work and it's fantastic. I am the GM of 1st year team the Bogota Bullets of the fantasticWHBL
I love the idea of my team being in Bogota but i'd like to stray away from the stereotypical portrayal of Bogota as a violent craphole ![]() Doing a little research it seems Bogota is a very old city and nicknamed the "Athens of the Americas" for it's wealth of universities and history of Higher learning. I'd love to rename the team the Bogota Scholars and furnish it with a retro/nifty logo. I have no idea how to do this and would be willing to send an e-gift-voucher(of your choice for $10 or so) to whoever comes up with the best design. I particulary love this design created for Philadelphia that someone here has done(JDEW?). I really like the "baseball club of Philadelphia" tag. Wonderful. Anyway i'd love for a couple of you guys to help me out. Thanx in advance. Stuart

That's cool Scotto , how would it look in chocolate brown or maybe a light blue? IS that possible?

But then I kinda liked this too. Its using the colors and crest from the flag of Santa Fe de Bogota and is more retro (should be, the ballplayer is from a 1940's Cincinnati program). But I liked the layout and thought it might work here.
By the way Scotto, that's an awfully nice design you did. I like it. |

I really like the Santa Fe de Bogota design. It incorporates all the elements I was looking for. Wonderful piece of work JDEW.

A belated "thank you". You guys have spiced up the WHBL in more ways than you know.
Cali and Bogota have a nice in-country rivalry going and this helps better represent the image Bogota was going for. Nice stuff. I'm bankin' 'em. ![]() -E |
