Catobase Question

I've been using the Catobase for my historical sim and so far after each simmed season I exported the stats and created the website. After each year it has taken longer and longer to create the pages. I was wondering does it import every year I simmed each time, or just the last year? For example say I created the pages in 1906, then didn't in 1907, but did again in 1908, would the stats show up for 1907 or not?

You would have to uncheck the "current year only" on the output tab. That way it will generate pages for both 1907 & 1908. And yes, it is going to continue to take longer as the database gets bigger and more player pages need to be created (as well as league pages...etc.).

Gibson swings, and a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5 to 4; I don't believe what I just saw! I don't believe what I just saw!

Yes, it takes a little longer each season to create the .html, but the importing should take roughly the same time each year. If you're creating the .html after every season, be sure to check the boxes for "Current Year Only" under the Output tab on the Options screen. It won't save much time, but it does help. Oh, and turn off your anti-virus before running it, too. That seems to help.

Creating the HTML..

For my current fictional league it took 14 hours on my pc to create the pages for a league in its 89th season..... I have 1 gig of SR2800 RAM on my system and 200GB hard drive space.... I now only update every 10 seasons and run the program over night to do the update...
