Need Elnora All-Stars logo

I need an Elnora All-Stars logo...a small town of 45,000 located inland near Belair Bay at the edge of the great plain in east central Ruthlandia (named for Babe Ruth)...site of grain processing plants and vast wheat farms...and home of the Elnora All-Stars, one of the earliest and most powerful amateur teams in the country formed by various plants and commercial enterprises...players were given jobs by the companies and given ample time off to practice and play games. When the first professional league was formed...the Federal Association...Elnora's owner, Georgie Costanza, signed up most of the amateur all-stars (a la George Steinbrenner) and named the team, the All-Stars.

Traditional...nothing modern...use Red, Light Gray, Black and White colors.

Put a frame or border around the logo...size 150 x 150.

Do it the way you feel inspired...choose your own colors if you like...just make sure they contrast well.

Or you could do something like this:
(see Fredericks Outlaws 2003...I like the star and the circle)

http://www.logoserver.com/DiFL.html

Please use ELNORA and ALL-STARS...if possible make them fairly large.
Put an "E" in the center of the star (see Fredericks logo).

I also found this one:

http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/info/office/

Put ALL-STARS in place of MINOR LEAGUE...and ELNORA in place of baseball.
Use Black in place of the Dark Blue color.

Whatever you do will be appreciated.

Only had time for one this morning. I think after doing this one that your top choice, while a little more dificult will turn out much better.

Thanks for the very fine logo, chredwdew.

Looking forward to seeing the other one, too. If you think it will be better, I will have two very fine logos to alternate. The first one was very good.

I don't want to seem unappreciative, but some of the letters on ALL-STARS looks spotty and splotchy..."NORA" on Elnora. I know nothing about graphics, but is this caused by a transparency issue...something to do with true black?

Can it be touched up?

You did a very fine job creating it with that one exception.

Please make it 150 x 150...sorry, I know nothing about resizing.
(edit: albatross11 taught me how to resize...the best I could do was 150 x 127...that's all the software would let me do.)

You can resize it with IfranView. Click on "Image", and, in the drop-down menu, select Resize/Resample".

Thanks, albatross11...I'm not very adept with computers, but will try it.

albatross...I did it...but had a little problem.

I could not get it to accept 150 x 150...it would allow me to insert 150 in width...but when I would put 150 in height...it changed width to 127...which is half of the size of the original. It would only accept 150 x 127. Is it possible to make it 150 x 150?

I really appreciate your help...I have learned a little more about Irfanview and resizing logos.

When you try to help the computer-challenged, make sure you give them all the instructions they need...I thought all I had to do was go to Irfanview, then image and then resize...and hit OK. That does change the size, but it doesn't change it in the original folder. I experimented a little bit and saved it in My Documents and then copied it to the Logos folder in the game.

Not complaining, just trying to help you understand the mind of the computer ungifted. We need detailed instructions to struggle through the task, while you genius easily breeze through it. Fortunately, you are nice enough to take the time to help us.

Thanks.

I don't know, Eugene, if you can get InfranView to accept exactly 150 x 150. Maybe someone who know more about it can help you out. I have some logos that aren't exactly 150 x 150, and they show up fine in the game. I think if you get it close it will be ok. I'm not sure, but I think the game kind of "resizes" the logos (and pics) to fit.

Very nice Treches.
The only prob with the first one is it was a very small picture to begin with. I can widen the letters a bit a resize it no problem.

Eugene, when in the resize screen on IrFanView at the bottom of it there is a little box that says "preserve aspect ratio" uncheck this box and you will be able to resize to 150x150

Made the letters in Elnora a bit wider and adjusted it to 150 X 150.

Great logo, chredwdew. It is exactly like I wanted.

Thanks for touching up the lettering. I think it will be fine now.

You and Treches have given me two excellent logos.

See there, Eugene, I knew someone more knowlageble would come along. Thanks, Sandstorm3. I use IfranView a lot, but didn't know that. Very helpful.

I appreciate Sandstorm's help, but I also appreciate your help. You got me try to do something I ordinarily would not do for myself...you motivated me to learn.

Thanks.
