CatoBase didn't pull Post season
Jeff,
I just ran 1905...I made very small changes I changed the Post season name from US Championship to World Series from 1903 to 1904 I went from best opf 9 to best of 7 As always I change the shedule to space out the games...now for 1904...it says Pittsburgh won the US championship...but they are not bold in the league index 1905...it doesn't mention the post season at all, although I believe post season stats are correct Where is Cato pullin gthis info from? |

The program tries to figure the postseason from the schedule_games file. It seems this file is not always in the same format. I think this is usually because something screwy was done with the schedule. The next update has a check to see if it got the postseason results or not. If not, it will ask for the league.html file generated by OOTP. It will then parse that file to get the playoff results.
If you send me your data files, I'll look to see exactly why it didn't get the postseason.
