Question Combining stadium information??

Hi there--

I am in the process of trying to get my fictional league started, and wanted to get unique stadiums for my teams. The problem is that some of the stadiums I like are in one set of stadiums, and some are in another. I really have no clue about the ins and outs on the stadium designs, but I was wondering if it would work to just combine the two separate 'park' files and the two different 'parkconfig' files into two master files, and have all the stadiums from two packs together? Has anyone tried this, or can it be done? Thanks.

Yes it can be done.

These instructions probably arent perfect but going from memory...

1) Start a new league with one park set(preferably the smaller set as it will be quicker).

2) Go into edit ballpark(in league setup), as you go through each park, hit the export park button. I think it saves them as parkname.dat but I'm not positive on the extention. It will save them in one location(again I cant remember exactly where) as a data file along with the bmp.

3) After you have exported each park load up a league with your other park set(the larger one).

4) Now in edit ballpark use the import function and import the parks you had previously exported.

Now you should have all the parks combined into one set of park files.

Thats the basics of it anyway. There is also a park editor utility which is very handy for editing parks and removing parks from certain park.dat(ie leagues) files.... although I dont think it lets you import and export parks.

Hope that helps, Ive only done this a few times so my memory is a little rusty .
