A few requests

I asked for a new logo in another thread (thanks to Treches and davswms, by the way), and apparently my leaguemates were so impressed that I now have the mandate to ask if it would be possible to have all of our logos re-done by people on the Graphics forum. Now, we have a few, so it may not be possible, but you never know unless you try it.

Here are the teams:

Maisonneuve Marauders - dark blue, team mascot: dog
Skojpp Bombers - orange, white, black
New Skojpp ______ - (they don't have a name yet, so anything is welcomed)
Lennongrad Coléoptères - a coléoptère is a beetle
George Falls Barons - classic look
Westness Gladiators - red, white, black
Eichstatt Blitzkrieg - light blue, anything else
Proletarian Knot Sfeer - a sfeer is an ambience... be creative

The Pines Verts - green, green, green
Flaming Cliffs Turtles - as you please
Ingleville Magistrates - again, as you please

and of course, if anyone wants to work on my team's logo, I won't mind (Pierrefonds Liberté, green/yellow, 70's-80's look, big "P"), even though Treches's one is supa dupa cool.

Thanks in advance for anybody who can contribute on behalf of my league!

Here is another one in case he does not want to take the chance of having the same logo as someone else in another league. Both use his red & black requests and a city name can be added if he wants.

Here's the .bmp with pure black removed from the logo and the background made pure black so it will appear correctly in game.

Well, technically, Skojpp doesn't exist. It was inspired by Skopje, which I think is in Macedonia (or Croatia?).

Anyway, thanks a lot to everybody who contributed so far. The Skojpp one looks awesome, and as for the Marauders one, I think that the dog looks a bit too agressive, but I hope the team's owner will like it. The rest of the logo is top notch, though, great work!

I knew it looked familiar!

Skopje is indeed the capital of Macedonia.

The Bombers nickname made me think it was a Scandavian forward air base... and since it's fictional, that could be true, couldn't it?

The problem is that Skojpp (however you pronounce it.... I still haven't figured it out after 5 seasons!)'s population speaks French, Dutch and German (like all cities of the Axelite League), and "Bombers" doesn,t quite fit in. Oh well!

By the way... we're currently in 2010, and we've pretty much given up on this season. We're preparing the 2011 very seriously, we're re-working everything (logos are just a small part of the pack), but we'll be looking for some members, so if you're interested in joining one of these cool-name teams, I'm always here!
