Troy Haymakers logo-decades

Wondering what you guys can come up with in regards to this logo...

and maybe we can see subtle changes.

I need an

1880 logo...probably block, gothic or script...black on white or vice versa
1900 logo...still simplistic, maybe some color (I am color blind...so the color scheme is all you)
1910 logo...something akin to the Cubbies bear with bat logo...and yes I will have ugly checkered unis. I love the Giants all black unis during this time period
1920...something along the lines of my avatar (of which I lost that file and can't save my avatar as a .bmp..lol)
1930...two spectrums...classic like the Yankees, Reds, Tigers? Or something like the Browns, Braves, Red Sox...maybe cartoony like the Cubs and Cards?

That's about it...with population dip in the 30's 40's in Troy I will most likely have to move..

Thanks in advance...

I did some Troy Haymakers logos for Henry last year, intended to reflect the 1910's, 1930's, and 1950's time periods. They might be suitable.

You can find two of them at enuttage's Logo Bank here: http://www.thelogobank.net

Or, you can view the original thread and see all three versions. They are on pages 2, 3, and 5: Who wants to try 8 old-time logos for the UBA?

All of which reminds me how I wish I had more time to get back into doing some logos now and again...

Thanks LGO

But I disagree...your schedules (and getting Markus to have a RetroSheet imprt of course) are more important

IMO I think you should do both schedules and logos...especially if they are mine.

This is 1900 style. No color yet, just some letters the tailor had handy.....

Troy 1910... Why not the Cub's bear & bat from that time period?

Let's change the "T" a bit and make it white on a blue background for the 1920's...

For 1930, lets darken the blue and get a larger, bolder "T"....

Very nice work on all of them, jdew.

The "T" with the bear is my favorite.

Thanks JDEW

The 1800's and 1900 logos are great...I can't get them at all with Microsoft Paint..even though I have the fonts...weird...I am just not good with graphic programs

As for the 1910's well the Bear wouldn't really fit

How about one like my old avatar...A kid in a straw hat with a pitchfork and a pile of hay? Then for the 30's...a little more sophisticated .bmp of the kid...with maybe Haymakers as the background??

I think by the 40's, Troy is too small, so I may have to relocate...although that will be OOTP12

But I will use that bear and bat for my historical league!

Since I don't have a copy of your old avatar & it sounds like you don't either, do you remember where you might have gotten the graphic?

I have no clue...

When I get time...I'll go over all my posts, see where it is

Can't be too hard, I think Logo and Graphics is 2nd only to Off topic in lowest posts
