1987 & beyond for OOTP5 & other questions
I know there is a 1987 roster for OOTP6; can it be used with OOTP5?
Or, alternately, is it possible to import the 1987 season from Ankit, and then somehow enter the players that are in the Hall of Fame up to that year, with their stats, and update the record book to be current for that year? How would that be done? Thanks |

That's a very good league, too - it's one of my favorites.

I was a sophomore in high school in '87, undergoing a somewhat difficult year, and the Tigers were a bright spot for me. I also thought '87 may have been Sparky Anderson's best year managing, at least with the Tigers. Too bad they lost to Minnesota. I went to the home opener that year, and it was absolutely great. Sat in the bleachers and enjoyed the roudiness and atmosphere of Tiger Stadium. Comerica is nice, but it can't compete with Tiger Stadium

I am sorry to say that I do not still have the OOTP5 version of the 1987 file. I do have a 1986 league file for OOTP5 but it was made with the Lahman Database and does not have team records or "Real life" hall of famers. I tried to import a new 1987 OOTP5 league file and then move my retired.dat & records.dat files over from the OOTP6 version but it did not work.
Sorry!
