Ok, back to work (BOSI)

It's been about a month since either Jack or I have touched BOSI. Jack had a new addition to the family, while I was getting our new addition to the All in 1 family ready to go (we put our 3rd shared server online ).

Now that we have all of that behind us, we are going to be getting back to work on BOSI tomorrow (today is the wife's birthday, so if I work today, I'll get shot). After knocking out some known issues(I'll release a patch when this is done), I plan on getting the trade utility back while Jack will be working on reports. Here are the known issues that I know of off the top of my head:

1. When a player is traded, he no longer shows up on the team stats page. <-- Fixed
2. Pitcher last sim filter on the team stats page does not work. <--Fixed
3. Need a delete script on the Central/Official server so people can start their leagues over again. <-- Done
4. The APBL had an error when importing after the all-star break. I need to test this some more to see if it's a general issue or not.
5. Split stats don't appear to be generating correctly. <-- Man, this one is a tough one to crack. Still working on it.

If there are more issues, please list them here.

Answer -- So much that we can get our legs tied together, walking 3 legged for the rest of our lives and I'd love it.

Making progress, but not quite there yet. That split stats bug is driving me nuts.

I will release a patch this weekend which fix most of the known bugs. However, that will be the last time I work on BOSI. Life has thrown me one heck of a loop. We've got All in 1 purring like a kitten so that will not be affected. But, I do not see where I'll be able to work up the time to work on BOSI. Jack will be taking this over in the near future, but there is no time table for this.

Sorry guys. I was looking forward to getting BOSI completed.

Take care of yourself Joe, those life loops can be a pain in the behind.

Don't worry about it Joe. Life is much more important than anything like this. While your work on BOSI will be missed immensely, hopefully it will live on through others work.

Joe,

Sorry to hear this news. Hope all works out for you. Would you consider making BOSI an open community project? Perhaps something on sourceforge?

Thanks,
John

It already is "open source". All of the code is in the download, so anyone can pick this up and continue writing for it.
