What do YOU do on Catobase?
I have used this great program before, but as it was several years into the season it took something out of it. Now I have simmed 10 years of a fictional league (and will do another 10 before taking over a team) and I'm just blown away but what I'm learning!
For example. SP Timothy Sinkler, 5th overall pick in the starting draft. He has won the Picthing Award 7 years out of the 10 played (including the past 5 in a row). Has a career ERA of 2.40, career W/L line of 175/65 and he hasn't walked more than 38 batters in the past 5 seasons. But the one number that leaves me aghast is that he has not given up a single homerun in SIX complete seasons! That's 215 starts. He has never given up a postseason HR either in 26 starts. I then look to see if his team (Copenhagen) plays in a power hitters park. They do not. But another look at Sinkler's stats shows that in the previous 4 years, he gave up 38 homers with 26 of them at home. Still only 34, Sinkler and looking at all stats he should be a lock for the HoF (currently scored at 68). I like to follow the progress of certain teams too. Prague has won 7 division titles in a row (8 throughout history), made the finals 4 times and won 3 times. Whereas Lisbon won 5 division titles in 6 years, reached the LCS only twice (losing both) and now have finished the past two seasons 59-103 and 71-91. Milan on the other hand finished dead last 4 out of the opening 6 seasons and all of a sudden they win three division titles in a row. It's certainly not because of their 1st overall draft picks as they trade them away. Their success seems to come from the FA pool. Those are just very small examples as most of you will know. So, do YOU have a player/team/stat you look at as soon as Catobase has finished it's work? What strange things have you discovered?

I track players history and watch them as they progress throughout their careers. Without going into detail because I could write 50 pages of info on Catobas BUT IMO catobase is truley one of the (if not the best) greatest utilities I have ever used. Thanks jcato.
