Another questions about Catobase (PA question)

OK, I am new to all of this and pretty much new to baseball but in catobase I noticed that many of my player had PA's that were more/larger in Cato then in OOTP. How is the PA calculated? Are walks involved and what does CS mean? Thanks.

PA, is total plate apearances, so it includes reaching on an error, hit by pitch, bb's and ab's.

CS is caught stealing.
