Help with pics off the 'net

guys I know this is a silly stupid question but how do I click on pics on the net and save them for use in the game.. I'm using the my pictures folder and everytime I do it I keep getting "file is not supported by such and such" it's either a jpeg or bmp file... this shouldn't be a big deal, right? when did I get so stupid? Any help would be appreciated.

Jody

I'm afraid it is a big deal, they must be bmp files or they won't work. There are two good stickies in the FAQ forum about importing pictures, whether it's players or ballparks.

When you save an image from the net it is best to right click on the image and then do a save in the format you need. I have found alot of jpg and png images that I needed in bmp format. I would just right click and save as/or you could just use batchthumbs and convert all your images. The downside to batch thumbs is that it renames your images. If you save the image in a specific format you can save it as any name and format without worrying about a program changing the name.....
