Red face Stadium makers wanted, assuming they exist

hey all

i'm looking for anyone that is good at making stadiums from scratch, park factors, pictures, the works. The league that i'm lookin to start(in my signature) has unfortuenatly lacking stadiums since they dotn realyl exist in the real world(at least not to my knowledge). So if anyoen woudl be intrested, please give me a shout,a nd of course, you will get credited for your work, and I'll be very happy that all the teams arent using Stadium AA #2

Stadiums designers are very rare and almost non-existent on this forum in the last year. You might want to get Teflon and Henry's stadiums and change the names to fit your league cities. I created two fictional leagues (40 teams) and would first start with a stadium and then create a team and a nickname. For instance, a stadium with a view of a river or harbor was assigned to a town like White River, Cape Coral, Bayview or Edgewater...a stadium with a view of the mountains was assigned to the Upland Mountaineers....a stadium with a forest in the background was assigned to the Forest City Lumberjacks...one with a view of a capitol was assigned to the capitol city of my mythical countries of Ruthlandia and Tycobbia, where the leagues took place...a stadium with an old fort for part of the outfield wall was assigned to the Ft. Benton Defenders...one of the teams in my league was owned by St. John University, a religious school, and you can see the beautiful cathedral towers beyond the outfield walls...I assigned this stadium to the St. John Crusaders.

You can also use real stadiums and rename them to fit you league teams.

There are several great sites for downloading stadiums...real and fictional ones. If you are interested in them, I will try to list the ones I know.

that'd be great. unfortuenatly no real stadiums exist, and i dont have many pictures of the unis that I woudl be basing them at, so hence the dilema.

it does suck that there's no stadium designers here anymore, some fo the work was quite good

Teflon was one of the best at stadiums. I think an MLB pack by him would be by far the best. Too bad he isn't around anymore.

Check out my tools page, I have Real Stadiums from 2002-2004. I also have a Fictional Stadium pack with about 40 stadiums in it, most of them are from Teflon.

It is more common for me to play a league where I sim almost all the games, so I am not always interested in the stadium pictures. I do however pretty much always want my leagues to have varying stadium dimensions and park factors.

Has anyone anywhere compiled stadium .dat files from any of the various stadium sets out there?

I get bored making up the stadium dimensions and park factors myself, I've never been quite satisfied with the little spreadsheets that turn dimensions into park factors, and it is a chore to download an entire stadium set over the 56k just for the tiny .dat files. I for one would like to be able to just take those files and copy them into my league, then only have to change the park names and such rather than completely input everything.

I have park.dat and parkconfig.dat files for each of my stadium sets. CTC, 80s and 2002-2004. They can all be grabbed on my site as seperate downloads from the full stadium zips.
