cato and awards question

I have the latest version of cato, and am using OOTP 5. When I run cato for the first year everything seems to run fine. The second year, it seems that everything is working except the "awards" that the game generates (not the MVP, fireman, etc awards that you assign).

What happens is that it only shows the awards for the current year. For example, it will show 1901, 1902, etc in the year column, but only the last year will have awards shown.

It does work if I uncheck the "current year only" box, but I am concerned that when I have many seasons simmed, this will greatly add to the time it takes cato to run.

any ideas? Thanks.

When you unclick the "current Year Only" option, it will process the HTML for the seasons that haven't been done yet. If you HTML output is up to date then it'll basically only do the current year anyways.

So if I leave the box checked, does anyone know why I am losing the awards from the previous year? Also, with the current version of cato, you don't have to generate a report from within the OOTP game anymore do you?

For the previous years where no awards are listed, go to Edit / Award Winners, and see if the correct award winners are listed there (or whether it is blank).

I'm curious to know if Catobase is only saving one year's worth of awards, or it's saving all of them but only outputting one year's worth.

well, that was strange. I ran a test league, and this time it did it correctly. I don't think I did anything differently, but I will try it again on a new league I am running.
