Catobase Help

Hi, I'm in the process of running Catobase after my 3rd completed season. I was able to import and create .html pages successfully after the initial two seasons. After creating the third season, all of my .html pages indicate that the latest year (1950) is the only 'sim' season, i.e. all career leaderboards, etc. only have 1950 data in them. The stats for 1948 & 1949 show up on the player pages but as 'pre-sim' and don't show on leader boards, team histories, etc. Am I missing something really simple here? I've tried some modifications in the output options and re-importing/exporting and achieve the same results. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Did the directory where you put your HTML already contain all your previously existing cato HTML? Or did you move it or something after you did the second season? CATO by default only generates the HTML for the most recently imported season. If you moved out your old HTML or lost it or something, look for the checkbox that tells cato to regen HTML for all years. Its in the options somewhere one of of the tabs.

Thanks for the response. All of my previous years .html pages are intact and in the same folder as my most recently created pages. It's just that the cumulative pages don't seem to be accumulating the data from those previous years. Could this have anything with the exporter files? I think I have these unzipped in the proper location. My 1st season was done with 5.4 and I'm now using 6.1.4.

Did you create a new database for Season 3 instead of opening the existing database you used for Seasons 1 and 2?

If that's not it, I'd just start over... start a new database under 6.1.4 and import all three seasons... you do have league file backups for the previous seasons, don't you?

I was a little confused by my existing .mdb files, I had 3 of them and not certain which one was correct (48catobase.mdb, 49catobase.mdb, & catobase.mdb).

I have the previous years data files, looks like I'll have to start over and import all 3 yrs. Thanks for your assistance!

That certainly would be a problem. You want to be sure you've only got one database and always use that one and only database each year.
