Community Facepack RELEASE - BETA 1

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know that we're far enough along to drop a beta release. There are 1560 faces in the beta release, all properly formated and sized. I decided the players looked too much like soccer players when they came out of the generator, so i photoshopped a baseball jersey overlay. The overlay is not included in the beta, but I did prepare some sample images, so that everyone knows where this is headed.

I wanted to get these out there because i felt that there was some skepticism as to the quality of the images. I believe someone went so far as to say that they would look as realisitc as 1950's science fiction serial or somesuch... Now, I realize I'm biased, but i think the finished samples are of a quality on par or better than what's out there...

In addition to the 1560 face in the beta, there are another 300 or so raw images on my hard drive that are waiting to be formated and sized. That brings the image total to over 1800. I've gotten this far to due the tremendous help of board members Filthy Slider, Burto, and Raidergoo. I can't tell you guys how much of a help you've been -- particularly Slider...

Now, 1800 faces is a nothing to sneeze at, but my goal is 3000, which would basically be enough to fully support a 24 team league. If we're going to get there, we still have 1200 to go. Plus, I have to learn how setup Adobe ImageReady to automatically add the jersey overlay. We could really, really use help generating the rest of the raw images. All you have to do is pick a column of random numbers from an excel sheet i prepared, go to the MZitalia website, and copy and paste the numbers into the generator. If the face that comes out looks realistic (only about half are), right click and save the image. Once you're done with the column, zip up the images and email them to me. It shouldn't take you more than half an hour. I'll take care of the rest and credit your help when the facepack is finally released.
As far as setting up the generator, please use a plain black jersey with a white-vneck colar as shown in all the BETA faces.

I like the finished samples. The faces look pretty realistic and believable. Nice work!
