Yet another Catobase problem...
I am using Catobase 6.0.0 and I am now getting an error when the team pages are all done and then it starts doing the schedule splits and then I get the error.
INVALID USE OF NULL Anyone have any ideas? |

Unless you want back because of another problem, I'd recommend using the latest version...6.014 I think.

Invalid use of nulls has always been a problem with team splits processing for versions > 6.0. I had that problem in 6.14 and had to roll all the way back to 6.14 to get rid of the problem. This is the first I can recall hearing about this problem for version 6.0.

I have had this problem ever since I have deleted (uninstalled) ver 6.1.4 or whatever the latest is. I am now using a fresh install of the 6.0.0 version and I get the problem ever time now. I cannot use any league past a few seasons and I will get that problem.

Check the pitcher tables and make sure that you don't have any pitchers with 0 IP but have earned runs. I would just change the IP to 1/3 inning and the error will go away. You will need a copy of MS-Access to view the pitching table, though. The other way to fix this is to view the pitching CSV file for the season when the error occurs and check for a pitcher with 0 IP with earned runs assigned.
Another error could occur in the fielding records if the player has errors but no innings played at the position due to no outs being made..... |

Ok I went through all the fielders and pitchers to cure them of their errors, however I am still getting an INVALID USE OF NULL in the error.
It crashes now when it gets to the divisional charts for the leagues. Any more ideas? |

Thanks to those that helped me out with the catobase but I have fixed the problem. It was in the league setup for the catobase... one of the team names was missing.... d-uh!!
I didn't even think of looking there at all. Thanks again to all that helped. |
