well i know that Joe runs a GREAT site, but i cant be responsible for my roster set you are getting from there as it is not where i put my site. He has the Ok to have it on the site and i encourage it, but i only control my roster set on my site. I know that the last set i released, i have Beltran as a free agent still so i have no clue

Here is what happened....

1) I did get the right set...

2) The Tigers managed to pick up Beltran as a free agent, I should have realized that was a possibility right from the start. I also ran the computer manager on all the teams which should have been my second clue... duh

3) The computer manager totally messed with Boston's depth chart. It was pretty close to real life, but apparently my sample size wasn't quick big enough. After resetting everything and simming another 2.5 months...well...things have definitely normalized.

So...my bad!

It is a good roster set. I think your ratings look pretty good for most players. They certainly aren't off by enough to cause me to comment specifically on anyone. It would be squibbling over statistically insignifcant points I'd be willing to guess.

I know you do this without getting paid and all but I'd just like to point some things out about Halofan's latest roster set which include Pedro Martinez on the Mets.
Some of the stats for 2004 are very inaccurate. For example I was playing with the Mets and I looked up Matsui and his numbers were not the same as he posted in real life. Now I'm not sure if this was done intentional or what but if it wasn't then there are definitely players you might want to look at because their stats are not compatible with the real 2004 stats. Next thing on the agenda, I saw this in one player but it could be happening to other players as well. David Wright, prospect for the Mets, is put as a lefty batter when he's a righty batting. He's righty throwing as well. Anyways good job with the roster, I'm really looking forward towards the new set which would hopefully include Beltran as a Met.

now im not sure where you got the set from but i have Wright as a RH batter and thrower and as for the stats, they are correct as i am looking at them right now....which stat screen are you looking at? if you are looking at the stat line that shows only 2 seasons worth, those have never been changed and i dont know how to change them anyways. Remember, unless you get the roster set from my website i have no control of the roster set. Now if you did get the roster set from my site, i have no clue why it is showing him as a lefty

OK after checking it you are right about the statline. When you click on the player it's different. Pretty weird. As far as Wright is concerned I had to edit him to make him a righty. Perhaps the computer did it, I'm not sure. I know though that he was a lefty and I found that really weird. BTW I did get this from your site.

hmmm, that is strange. hopefully it will be right when i put the next one up on Wednesday

Wow it's going to be that soon? I was about to start my own fictional league. Well I did start it but I'll stop it now. I rather have more updated rosters if anything.

i TRY real hard to get them out every 3-4 weeks but when i went out on vacation it pushed me about 2 weeks back, if it doesnt go up Wednesday night, it will go up pretty early Thursday. All oyu need to do is check back at my site and you will get more info as to when mods that i do are released or plan on being released

yes, it still looks like today is the day, although i may be struck by lightning or hit by a dump truck as i have had bad luck the last few days. i cut my finger open and had stitches put in so i was only able to type like a 90 year old man on prozac, so you can imagine how much i got done with the hand shaking and swollen and made jimmie walker's lips on "good times" look small

I'm a newb so this may be an easy thing to accomplish but I'm not sure if it's possible. I'd like to keep everything in that file but have the udpated rosters.
