fantastc job, Cuss! Its really come along from the first iteration. I really like the changes and I think the more you keep tinkering, the better it keeps getting.

HI Cuss,
i´m watching this thread for long but never made an comment on this Logo. And now i´m still searching for words to describe this Brilliant work. This is one of the best Logos i have seen. If sometimes a Baseball Club in the MLB should call "COLONIALS", there is no way : They MUST use this Logo. greetings from a spechless Pepe Hope my Englisch describe how i like your work |

Maybe one day, meanwhile I can only practise and try to get better each time. But like I said, I appreciate the morale boost.

Hi Cuss,
credit to people who deserve it. I would say there is nothing to hide with your work from a Pro Logo Designer. Still speechless after looking at it again and again. I´m now thinking about where your work will be when you "only practise and try to get better each time" , like you said. Well thumps up for you, and serve us with your great work in the future, there is a lot i cold learn from your work . regards Pepe |

The brightened up colours are much nicer. *nitpick alert* The red still looks a touch dark for my tastes, but as I said, my monitor is set fairly dark so that could be it. I might also trim the angled flourish off of the top right part of the last "s" from the Colonials text; it just sort of sticks out and I'm not sure it really adds that much. The angled flourishes coming from the bottom of the "s" are fine. *end nitpick alert* Again, that's some fantastic work there. Was that all done in Photoshop?

![]() I trimmed off the little spike like you suggested, but it made the letters look too squared off and lost a bit of that wave motion I was trying to convey. I did retract it a bit so that it's less protruding than the original. As for the red, I think it's as bright as it could be without it clashing with the blue. And it may just be a matter of taste since a darker red does help the concept to look more vintage and classic while as the brighter red seems to make it more modern and distinct. And since I personally prefer the vintage look for this particular concept, I am actually going to darken the red by just a tad. And I just want to let everyone know that I appreciate and respect everyone's comments here and just because sometimes I don't implement something somebody mentioned doesn't mean I don't respect the suggestion, like I said, sometime it just comes down to personal taste. I very much appreciate all the feedbacks I have been able to receive and as anyone can see, the logo is now much better because of the help of you guys. Well maybe with the exception of dbacks. ![]() So just keep them coming.

Excellently done, Cuss...really like the cap and jersey. Thanks for posting them.
Do you intend to put the team name on a uniform...road and away? Bottom line: Do it the way you like it...it is your creation...it is your logo. Quite a few of us, who frequent the Logos and Graphics Forum are very, very particular and very, very opinionated...and would probably like to improve the "perfect" logo. You never have to use my suggestions, if you don't agree with them. Don't ever worry about offending me....just say...I appreciate your comments, but prefer it my way...just like you did in this thread...or just ignore them to save time responding to them. Either response would be fine with me. |
