Christmas present for Eugene - version two of "South Fork Stallions"
Okay, it's a little bit late to be a Christmas gift, but here it is nonetheless. I'm quite pleased with how the design turned out, which is why I'm giving this logo it's own thread rather than putting it into the existing "South Fork Stallions" thread.
I did have a bit of trouble picking the colours, as I tried to stay somewhat close to the preferred black, gold/yellow, and orange. The result is two different colour versions, as I couldn't decide which I liked better. Anyway, here is the first one:

The one thing that's unfortunate is that the bevel effect on the text doesn't show up very well once the logo is reduced to OOTP's 150x150 size. It looks better at the full size I originally had the logo at.
Here's what the above version looks like at full size:

LGO...it could be, it might be, it is...
....one of the best damn logos ever done. Period.
You smoked that one out of the park. Fantastic work there, LGO. When I grow up, I wanna be like LGO.

fantastic work! The only thing I don't really like is that baseball kind of just floating in there. Maybe just take it out entirely? Or maybe replace the "O" in "Stallions" with the baseball? Great logo man!

LGO, I love late Christmas presents...thank you very much.
You are really fantastic to do 5 versions of the same logo. All of them are really well done. These last two are also very well done as all of your logos and schedules. (The schedule you made for my Alltime Allstar Baseball League is great) I like the orange logo and the large Stallions lettering...you know me...I like bright colors and big lettering. (psst...I hate to say it...I'll just whisper it...Cuss is right about the baseball) It is still a fine logo and I will be proud to use. I hope I can have a logo gallery on my website to showcase all of the great logos you guys have done for me and make them available to the OOTPB Community. I've been thinking of starting a logo thread where I could post all the ones I've done. I don't have a web site, and I'm too lazy to go create one... starting a thread in this forum is much easier! ![]() Besides, it would complement (well, sort of) the historical schedules thread I have going...

LGO:
I should have a site soon. If logos don't require too much space, I may include a logo gallery on it to showcase all of the fine logos you guys do and make them available for download a la JoeRock and enuttage. Have you ever thought of putting your collection on JoeRock's site...with his permission, of course? He has a lot of collections. |
