I hope you dont...
....because that would royally bite.
Good Luck, EC! Hope you are able to salvage as much of your files as possible.

Its always a little frightning thinking of losing all the files on a hard drvie. A few days ago I went to Best Buy and bought two Lexar Jump drives, one gig each that plug into my USB port, time to move all my logos to one of those. With a mail in rebate the drives were $59 each. I remember when we had a hard time at work getting the company to spend $1,000 for a 10 meg hard drive, times have changed.

I just bought a Seagate external 120 gig HD the other day from Walmart for around 150 bucks (a little more than that with tax) and it's worked beautifully thus far.

It is good to be back on the forum...I missed it.
However, can't play any games...when I opened up the game...got a message that my license had expired...didn't know it could expire. I am now waiting to get a reply from E-License to see what I have to do to fix the situation. Thanks, Jestor for the info about the backup. Last edited by Eugene Church; 01-03-2005 at 10:06 PM. |

Not a problem.
One other thing to keep in mind is that Maxtors, if you get one of those, shouldn't be left on for too long a stretch at a time, or they'll have a tendency to overheat. Maxtors also have a higher incidence of meltdowns with internal hardrives than any other brand I've encountered.

It was my private firewall on the Norton Internet Security that was stopping me from relicensing online with Viatech.
Thanks to statfreak, I finally got to update my alltime allstar baseball league this evening. Got some good news from my web designer that it should be finished sometime this week. |
