No need for secondary logos. The game doesn't really have a use for them and for the purpose of the contest, voters will be voting on a single logo rather than a grouping of logos.

I never thought of whether or not to allow multiple entries. I have no idea how many logos we are going to have submitted. It could be 4 and it could be 16 judging by the amount of buzz we generated. So far I have not heard any argument against allowing multiple entries. Of course a designer runs the risk of splitting his vote by submitting two, especially if they are similar in style.

Nuthin' but a sign of respect chappy! Seeing that little league do so well and pick itself up by the bootstraps after the Commish vanished - the NPBL deserves a lot of respect.

Mine's been submitted. I'm really looking forward to seeing all the different ideas.

Darn, wish I had the time for this one. I had a great idea, but I'll just have to wait for another time to win.

So far we have 3 submissions. From the looks of it so far, the community is going to be very pleased with the results.

Can't wait to see what else comes in.

He's sandbagging. He wants to see the competition before he commits

You know what everybody? I suck at logo and image manipulation. Heck, you never even see me around this logos section, but just for the fun of it, I figured I'd give it a shot. I just submitted my logo and hope to see at least some decent support and suggestions. Maybe you'll see me hang around here a little more too.

well I've got some unfortunate news, I am having some problems with my computer so I will have to see if I can make that deadline. I actually have the logo 70% done hopefully I can fix it by Tuesday.

You just put a big smile on the other designers' faces.

Just kidding. I think this will be good, friendly competition.

I think the designers want all the talented designers to have an entry...they want to beat the best.

I admire Mr. Opinion. He is competing, though he seems to think his talent level may not be up to the other designers...but that doesn't matter. To play the game is the thing...not to win.

I remember one time in the Air Force in Turkey, we were playing the best team in the tournament finals and their best player and center was sick and couldn't play...a few of our players were happy he didn't play. But there were a few of us that wanted to play them at the best.

We won...but it was an empty victory for me personally.

The next time we played them...he played...and beat us in a close game.

I am kinda strange...I would rather lose a close game to a good team than to have an easy win against a weak team. I never bought into the "winning is everything" philosophy...I prefer to compete, but have fun doing it. One of the most enjoyable season I ever had was a church basketball team...we were 8 guys that just enjoyed basketball and each other...We had two teams at our church, both in the same league. They were the "good" team...who really took winning seriously...it was win or nothing for them. We were the "less talented" team by far. We played in the last game of the season...we were 0-13...they were 10-3....Guess what? We beat them by one point. God does truly work in "mysterious ways".

Logo Designers: Logo #2 SAN ANTONIO TEJANOS

LOGO DESIGNERS:

LOGO #2: SAN ANTONIO TEJANOS
Nickname chosen because 55% of the citizens are of Mexican descent and the city's Spanish and Mexican heritage..."Tejanos" means "Texans"...perhaps one of Spanish descent. The committee thought the name would give the designers a wide range to design a unique logo.

If you would like to design a logo, you have until Midnight Tuesday at 11:59 pm CST (USA) to e-mail it to jnshmoo. You may submit more than one logo...but please make them distinctly different from each other...and not just slight variations of the same logo.

HIS E-MAIL ADDRESS: ootplogo at jnshmoo.us
(You will have to take out the "spaces" and add the real "at" symbol...this is to cut down on spam to jnshmoo)

Size: 150 x 150 pixels

JPG FORMAT

RULES: DO NOT USE ANY EXISTING PRO SPORTS LEAGUES LOGOS.
A designer cannot use an already existing professional logo in the logo design and creation...it must be a new creation.

The time zone is Central Standard Time in the USA...my time zone.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR LOGO: 11:59 PM CST TUESDAY
For the time zone challenged, Midnight Central Time on Tuesday is:
(COMPLIMENTS OF THE TIMELESS WONDER, LE GRANDE ORANGE)
10 p.m. Pacific on Tuesday
11 p.m. Mountain on Tuesday
Midnight Central on Tuesday
1 a.m. Eastern on Wednesday
2 a.m. Atlantic on Wednesday
6 a.m. GMT on Wednesday
