Here is Cooleyvol's updated logo. He also submitted the logo without the Portland name. I will upload that to the compilation as well.

NMLeague had originally submitted 3 different logos. When the total reached 16, he graciously allowed me to drop the following logo from the competition in order to fit everything in one poll. Here is that third logo:

I have a copy of the white b/g logos that are skewed as the one above is after resizing if anyone is interested in them.
FWIW, I thought #3 was the best overall. Congrats to all, though. Last edited by Cooleyvol; 01-21-2005 at 09:41 AM. |

FYI, today will be quite busy for me at work. We are preparing for our inventory next friday. I will work on getting everything uploaded to the websites over the weekend.

Congrats to all.
I think the designers represented the community very well and did an outstanding job of showing a wide array of styles and designs in their submissions. I'm very pleased to be a part of such a great group. And major props to the forum for coming out in big numbers to look in on the contest and vote. I give you all a huge round of applause. Now, we can all look forwards to contest #2, where I'm sure we may see more submissions and, I expect, a really wide variety of ideas given the concept. Peace all.

Congratulations to Cuss. I thought #11 was the best from the start. I was never happy with my logo (#3). I just sent it in thinking I could do better in one of the later contests. I'm shocked, but very flattered that it came in second out of all those great logos. Congrats to everyone who participated. I'm having a lot of fun with this and can't wait to see the next round.

Congrats to everyone, I don't think there were any losers as no doubt all the logos submitted will be used in leagues in the future have to say glad Cuss won and LGO was in the top 3 as I'm a bit biased as they worked on my Spring Valley Rattlers logo, but props to everyone great job look forward to the next contest and future contests.

You guys are too kind, I thank everyone who voted for me and I feel very lucky to have pulled this one out because there were certainly many others, that in my eyes were much better than my attempt. I can tell the next round is going to be even tighter than the first. Thanks to jnshmoo, EC, LL and others for setting this up, I personally had a lot of fun anticipating the votes, not to mention the designing process etc. Thanks guys, I hope to be in the next round too, so hopefully I will find some time.
