No, the trade deadline is always July 31...
but you can move the schedule forwards or backwards somewhat to adjust where July 31 falls compared to the games remaining.

I,ve made trades after July 31st though, I think. In my first season, the CPU created a schedule and in the second season I used Stickware and I'm pretty sure I can still make a trade and I'm in August.

You can do trades after 7/31 by turning off financials, dump and sign the proper players onto their new teams. Not great, but another work around.
I'm fairly certain after 8/31 (MLB waiver trade deadline) the game doesn't let you sign FAs anymore more, so it only extends the deadline one month. |
