Logos/Ballparks for Australian League
Hi all,
I am starting a fictional league (solo at the moment, but may go online down the track) set in Austrlia. I was wondering if there was anyone out there interested in creating some logos and/or ballparks for the league. I also need a logo for the league, as I am about the most graphically challenged person around. The league is called the "Australian Professional Baseball League" (APBL). The leagues are the North featuring:
I would also be interested in ballparks without the backgrounds, so that I can easily add one. Levi Last edited by lstephen666; 03-01-2005 at 05:58 PM. |

Melbourne Storm
Here is my attempt at the storm. I used the Storm logo, since I like it so much...could try something different if you'd like.

Thanks heaps illeracula. Those are great.
![]() I hate to ask for more after the effort you've put in but do you reckon you could put the Crocs logo on a white background (consistency with the rest of the logos)? Also I think I meant to say Swans not Swan. My bad. I reckon if the logo just used the Swan from the WA emblem instead of all the Kangaroos and the Crown it would look cool. With the rest it just seems a bit "English Royalty". I love the Crocs, Devils and both Surfers logos (I probably prefer the second one, but that may change with my mood), but the Storm one would be my favourite. Thanks again, keep up the good work! maybe you could work in a capitol dome building in it to signify the national capital. Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-01-2005 at 04:36 PM. |

Thanks again illeracula.

![]() If you want to try something else Eugene's suggestion of the dome is good, but based on the shape of Australia's Parliament House instead. I can't think of anything else from Canberra. Parliament House sort of dominates the skyline there. Don't know how many people know what that looks like, so here's a quick picture: http://www.australianexplorer.com/photographs/australian_capital_territory/canberra_parliament_house_2.jpg |

That's magic stuff, irrecula.
On a ballpark thing, when I can't find a proper stadium image, I download one of Henry's fictional stadiums that has a grid around it. That gives you a small square that I fill with a shot of the city or skyline. For example, this is what I use for Marseille: |
