Logo Alteration Needed

I'd like to see if anyone would like to edit this logo. It is of the San Diego Gulls, a ECHL hockey team.

What I'd like edited is the hockey stick replaced with a baseball bat.

I will need three versions of this logo..
a) San Diego replaced with "Kansas City" (with colored background)
b) Orange replaced with blue and silver (San Diego still in tact) with colored background.
c) A+B combined combined. (with colored background)

For bonus points, can you have the "Gulls", "San Diego", the Bird, and "Kansas City" all as seperate logos? I'd like to play around with them to end up creating uniforms.

Here is an attempt. I need more time, just don't have it here at work...Once I get the software at home I might be able to give it a better try...In the meantime I think I am on the righ track...He needs another hand to hold the bat or something...
