Halo - Toadfreak rosters

Gentlemen, what are the differences, if any, between your roster sets? Toad, are your rosters Halo's but with your ratings or are they brand, spanking new?

Thank you to both of you for providing these for us. Without people like you, I personally don't think I'd be playing this game.

i think, and i strongly urge the use of the word because im not sure, they are my rosters with his ratings

Yeah, I started with halofan's rosters as a base, but made a lot of modifications:

(1) Adjusted nearly every player's ratings to more accurately reflect the past two years of a player's stats, or to reflect how I think a rookie will perform this year.

(2) Deleted a ton of retired players and players who have gone off to play in Japan.

(3) Added nearly 50 rookies.

(4) Adjusted team markets, fan interest, fan loyalty, and broadcast revenues to make them more accurate (for example giving Boston and the Yankees nearly unlimited funds)

(5) I also updated the transactions to 3/9/05.

Thanks for both of your works -

toadfreak - I appreciate all your work - for I can just pop your roster in and just get started - this is the first time I've read that halofans roster was the source of your work - although they are very different - I think its very helpful to all of us to be clear and cite the starting point of works being released...

halofan - I appreciate the flexability of your roster, your kindness (in hosting
other rosters on your site)

I look forward to future releases of both rosters - as we pass the time till ootp 7 is released
