2005 Player Pics

In the second half, of the 2004 baseball season, we started seeing MLB doing some pretty nice player pics, here are a couple of examples Mike Rouse and Charlton Jimerson.

I guess they decided it really wasn't worth the effort because the 2005 pics are absolutely awful. White Sox are definitely lacking some color. The Yankees are absolutely horrid. The red in the Angels appears to be glowing.

DD's facepack really got me into player pics and what MLB is putting out there, right now, has me downright pissed off. Millions of dollars and it looks like they used a disposable camera.

I'm thinking that I'd like the stay away from Mark Buerhle.

I do some facepacks for a couple of leagues I am in, and use real player pics for our fictitious players like this for example. The only good thing is that there are some new player pics, of lesser known players to play with now. Still, I'm extremely dissapointed.

I seen that you are working on a new facepack, DD, and I want to thank you personally...I have become a facepack addict and love doing it for the leagues I am in. I would of never got into it, if it hadn't been for your superb facepack and the updates you do. Your facepacks have been more beneficial than you probably imagine they have. I love the action shots and have incorporated them into the leagues by matching lefty/lefty and righty/righty and such and played around making my own action shots...would of never have been turned on to it if it hadn't been for your hard work. At 33...I needed a hobby!!

Can't thank you enough.
