Problem installing some new stadiums

Keep in mind I am not good with computers...computer-challenged...so I may be talking nonsense.

Anyway...this is all I know:

I downloaded some new stadiums recently...Heartland, Ellsworth...and I can't get them to load in the game...I followed the normal procedure that I have done dozens of time, but they will not install in the game...finally I noticed that they are 41.5 KB and 59.4 KB...and all the ones that install in the game are 900 KB...except for a few that are 300 KB...but both work...only the ones at 41.5 KB and 59.4 Kb don't work.

Would this difference cause this installation problem?

You help would be appreciated.

Are the new stadiums saved as .jpg files instead of .bmp? It's the only thing I can think of that would explain the difference in size and make them not work in the game.

All of the stadiums are bitmap images.

Smaller Park for Regional or Minors Use

As little help as I could find in an earlier inquiry. It doesn't look like the file size indicates any problem should occur, although I thought it might mean the file format was incorrect as well. I wasn't aware of stadium files that small. Have you tried opening up the file with your standard viewer to see if it appears as you think it should in that format?

The stadiums look fine...I just can't get them to install in the game.

I can pick another stadium and it will work fine...just these two won't work.

Looks like I will just have to use some other stadiums...but I sure do like these two...they really fit a couple of towns in my fictional leagues.

You're welcome to attach one of them to a post and I'll be glad to take a look to see whether anything stands out or if it works on my end. We don't want you to settle for less if we can help it Eugene.

Can anyone figure out why this won't install in the game?

Here is the other one...I think it was called Ellsworth Stadium.

I would appreciate it if someone would download it and try to install it.

I saved the images you posted and got them to work by opening them in Paint and then saving them as 24-bit bmp files. You need to use the save as option and give them a slightly different name.

It worked.

These two stadiums will fit two of the teams/towns in my fictional league perfectly.

I'm glad you didn't let me settle for less than perfection.
