Catobase question

Well I recently had to reformat my hard drive which meant a fresh install of catobase. Well I have it installed and running fine, 6.1.4. Except I now have something occur which never happened in any of my previous attempts to use it.

When I attempt to import, it asks me the season start date, and the season end date. Why? It has never asked me that before. What can I do to get it to stop? I like to import and walk away and then come back and it will be finished.

I remember that from the 5.0 days...I don't think you patched up to 6.14 correctly.

Hmm..It says I have version 6.1.4 running. What is the proper procedure for getting the correct version?

What I did was goto the OOTP download center, download 5.4 install and then do the same with every subsequent update after that. I would have thought that would work?

Who knows what was the problem, but I actually read the readme and it only said get the 5.4 file and the latest file, which I did and all works well.

To get the "FULL Version" You need the 5.4, 6.0 and 6.1.4 versions installed in that order. I used to get the same message with 5.4 and the problem was with my schedule. I used a game created schedule then imported another schedule, and the season ended in a tie which required a 1 game playoff. Every season after that kept asking me to input the start and end years. I have not had this problem with the newest version though....

The latest file will not have the exporters automatically set up for you. You will need the 6.0 version to get this loaded correctly. This may also clear up the problem you are having with the schedule.
