California League

So i just stayed up all night and finished my latest fictoral project. the California Baseball League is now ready.

ahh hell I am lazy

Quote:
Claifornia League: read me!!!

Logos were predone. I would like to thank the artists who made them, but i no longer remember witch logos I got from what pack, they are all just unzipped into 1 folder on my machine. If you see your work please don't be offended, let me know and I would be happy to give proper credit.

Stadiums are : ctorg's Generic Background Fictional Ballparks w/ .dat files

Schedule by GMO: Look here for schedules to import into OOTP6

All coaches & minor leagues have been named

************************************************** **********************
IMPORTANT: I used gamboss database for this league file, you must continue using this database. The lahman & Ankit databases import players to far alnog in development for my tastes. The "real" player names in the league are only eye candy. I just feel it gives me a better connection to the players. As long as you don't mind some stars being nobodys and visa versa all is good.

gambos database can be found here: http://files.simcentral.net/index/Detailed/3680.shtml

In 1969 MLB didn't lose it's reserve clause.

A few bright businessmen, city & State Leaders jumped at the chance to snag players who havn't signed with a MLB tem yet. So they took some existing minor league teams & formed the california baseball league. The first Official season was played in 1970. It is now just prior to the 1979 season . Spring training camps have broken & the California sun is bright.

If you want a challenge take the simi valley club.

32 teams 2 leagues 4 divisions per league, 4 teams per division

Legues are northern (DH) & southern (no dh). Divisions are divided by market size

division 1 has the big market team
division 2 has average to good markets
division 3 has below average to small
division 4 has the tiny & no markets

The era setting are my custom settings,

bunt: normal
H & R: normal
steal: often
pinch hit: often
use Relievers: Very Often
Pitcher End. : weak
favor speed

Waivers has been off but most other options are on (rule 5, minor league FA)

but the game will work fine with modern or 60's and 70's settings

I hit the fill single a minors every 3 years or so but you are getting almost 5 full round from the rookie import so you don't need to.

League totals & finances are set ang you should be able to plug and play.

If you would like the cato history data base please send me an email and I'll get it uploaded for you. (it is a big file with 9 seasons in it).

if you play it please drop me a note and let me know how you like it and offer any suggestions you may have. jazzrack @ jazzrack.us
