Catobase help

Just installed Catobase. Everything went fine until I get an error.

Importing Error:
There is a problem importing line 7 in the file \players.csv.
the most likely cause is an invalid character the Nickname or HomeState fields.
Open this file in notepad and uncheck word wrap (under edit).
Examine the above line for any unusal characters and import again.

I can not find this file \players.csv ? I see a players.dat, but I do not think that is it. I am not sure of this program and I am in need of some help.

The player.csv file is in the data folder of your catobase folder. Because this did not process it should be directly under the data folder. If no files are there then you will have a year folder - the csv files would be there if not in the data folder.....

open the file in notepad - the bad record will stand out pretty much... edit this record and then rerun catobase but uncheck the box that says to run the exporter - you already have the files.

you should go into your ootp & fix the player also or this problem will come up every year.

I'm having the same problem but went to the line it said error occured and nothing looked at of the ordinary
