Just a few ideas

While OOTPB2006 does not have a lot of the features we would like to see or that have been in prior versions but aren't in this version, certain statistics and records are still accessible. For example, rookie records. While there isn't a place in OOTPB2006 were these are kept these stats are still avaiable. This is how;

Go to "statistics" (which is located under your leagues abbrev tab at the top of the UI). There you will be taken to a screen that show player statistics. From here there are many places to go. In order to find Rookie statistics go to the tab that says "Players:Qualified Players" and left click on that. You will see three options, the second one is "Qualified Rookies". Left click on that and you will see all of the qualified rookie stats. If you would like to view the rookie stats by different positions, sub-leagues, pitching, ect it's all there located near the tab I mentioned earlier called "Player:Qualified Players".

What I do is "print screen" (or if you play in "windowed" form just leave th4e game open) and then I create my own record book in access DB (or Excel-which ever you prefer) by typing in the stats I see on that screen. Of course I take the top player from each catagory and store them as my "single-season rookie records". There is some work but at this point I am willing to do that. Of course I wish this feature was already in the game.

Most likely many of you here already are well aware of this and need no "ideas" on how to gain this information but I thought I would post it for those newer guys who wanted to see rookie stats. Just a thought. And remember there is much more information stored and accessible so that we can track certain records that aren't being tracked at this point.
