World Financials Suggetions?

What suggestions might there be for someone who wants to use the default leagues presented in the game, but make them 'real world' style?

Obviously, you don't want the mexican league offering players the same kind of money as MLB, or the Dominican Winter League.

Care to share your options here?

Maybe reduce them by 25% before comparing to the US (to bring down some of the high income low pop countries), then use the resulting % compared to US per capita GDP, then modify by the major league equivalency you use for the league, to get a financial coefficient.
