Quick question

Is there a way to sim multiple seasons to build league history before taking over a team? I've toyed with the game for a while, but it seems like I just need to sim season by season. I'd like to start a fictional league in 1970 & sim through 2005 to create 35 years of history, records, etc. before joining in.

Yup - set yourself up as the 'commissioner', sim the seasons, then, when the time is right, go to 'add manager' and change your profile to give yourself control of whatever franchise you fancy.
