Can't get auto-adjustment modifiers to work
I posted this in technical support last night, but someone moved it to the Mods board. Not sure why, as that seems like an odd place for it. Anyway, I thought I'd ask this here:
I am currently doing a fictional replay of the 20th century. I have the current 30-team MLB setup, but I am not using any real players. Nevertheless, I'd like it if the player statistical totals mirrored what happened in real life. Therefore, I've checked these two boxes: * Automatically adjust league totals modifiers after each season for historical accuracy * Automatically import historical player-creation modifiers. Also, while I'm not sure if it matters or not, I have typed in the path to my lahman csv database (c:\lahman) under Historical Rookies Options, though I haven't checked the automatically import historical rookies option as I don't want to be troubled with real players amongst my fictional players. I've now simmed through two seasons (1901 and 1902), but have yet to get any switch to my modifers. Furthermore, guys are hitting 50 home runs each year. I've read the manual(s), and checked the forums, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. -JinAZ patched through 12262 |
