Very inexperienced manager

Hi gang, I just started my own solo league using OOTP2006. I started out in the minors as a manager. I noticed that I have no salery, while the batting and pitching coaches do, and also the scout does. is this because I am very inexperienced. will i receive a salery when I get more experience?

I don't think you get paid.

I can't remember if that's how it works, though.

Human players don't get a salary in the game, regardless of your level of experience. Markus jettisoned several human player-related role-playing elements in this version of OOTPB, excluding user salaries, girlfriends/wives/ex-wives, promotional days, and arguing the ump.
