Two Questions

I've just recently started to try this game out after mastering 6.12...

My questions are fairly simple:

1: Is there a god mode, where I can take control of whatever team I want at will? For example, if I wanted to play a game and manage both teams during the game, how can I do that?

(Note: as of right now, I created a "GM", and when selecting a game between two teams, I just make him the manager for both... is this the way, or is there a way I can do this without ever needing a created GM?)

2: I've seen the pitch-by-pitch mode - is there still a place I can turn on the at-bat by at-bat mode? I liked that in OOTP6, and I find the ptich by pitch too slow for my tastes...

Let me know, thanks.

1. I don't know if there is a simple way to take control of two teams with one manager. Markus added the ability to control all teams with one... but not sure about two.

2. Just press Enter or (I believe) F1 and it will sim the at-bat in one pitch.

Response to 2: I know I can do it that way, but it's without any strategy - I liked in 6.12/.5 that I could tell my batter to do something like bunt or hit and run etc etc etc and then that'd be the at-bat.. with the "Quick play", I think it just assumes swing away?

It would only be the whole at-bat if they were successful on the first pitch, otherwise you'd have to watch multiple pitches. I believe it works out the same for bunting, hit-and-run and stealing in this version. However, there may be other strategies which may not work out like in previous versions. I know there are many threads around the boards talking about the issue.
