No response to trade offers

I've been playing for a while now and have made numerous trade offers to other teams. I've been told that they will "consider the trade" and will respond later. I've never received any communication from them following this however. In fact, I can go back a few days later and offer the same trade again and get the same answer. Do the AI managers just not respond or something if they decline a trade? Do I need to look somewhere else besides my in-game email box for the answers to my trade offers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you actually hold the GM job of the team you're making offers for, or are you in commissioner mode and using the "Act As" menu at the top of the screen to take control of the team?

I was using the "act as" function. Does that make a difference? (I guess it does or you wouldn't have brought it uphttp://www.ootpdevelopments.com/board/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

I just hired myself as the new GM, so I'll try it and see how it work now.

Thanks for the tip!

I hate to admit it but.....I often forget to hit the "Submit Trade Offer" button.
Not trying to sound mean...but, did you double check that?

Don't worry about sounding mean.........you don't. Thats actually the first thing I thought of cuz I'm always doing stuff like that. I'm going to try the above listed suggestion and see if that makes a difference. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Thanks for the input though.
