OK, so I got a database. Now what?

Is there some way to make it the default DB, so that I can edit my league?

Like, say, I wanted to make a 12-team league with current players and stats, starting in 2006. Is there any way to do this? Or am I stuck with replaying years over and over...

What database did you install?

It is possible to make a 12-team league with current players.

I think the best way to do it is to start a new league and then select "add historical major league" and add the roster file into that newly created league.

I got the ARod23Garlon DB. It works fine, just want to make a 12-team league, not 30.

So I just play like I was setting up a regular historical league, then add in the default OOTP roster file, and then just don't draft any of the fake players? Hmm... that might work. Let me try.

Don't add in the default roster file, unless you want the default players.

You want to add in the roster file from the database you installed so you can use those players, if that's what you want.

I'm trying to go on memory because it's been a while since I did it. If what I said doesn't work then I'll test it first hand.

Well, what you said worked... kinda. I was able to eventually put all the players on the right teams, but I had to trade among the teams to get them where they go. You suggestion helped me a lot, thanks!
